1. Karnataka State Police (KSP) 2026: 8,176 Vacancies

The KSP remains the most sought-after department for defense aspirants. The 2026 cycle is currently active with a multi-stage selection process.

  • Written Exam Pattern: The test is a 90-minute OMR-based offline exam consisting of 100 objective-type questions.

    • Subjects: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Kannada/English, Numerical Ability, and Mental Aptitude.

    • Marking: +1 for correct answers; -0.25 negative marking for wrong answers.

  • Physical Standards (PST):

    • Male: 170 cm height; 86 cm chest (+5 cm expansion).

    • Female: 157 cm height; 45 kg minimum weight.

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Includes a 1600m run (Male) in 6:30 mins and a 1000m run (Female) in 6:00 mins.

2. Karnataka Forest Department (KFD) 2026

  • Educational Level: 12th/2nd PUC for Forest Guards; 10th/SSLC for Forest Watchers.
