The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the timeline for the Central Police Organization (CPO) 2026 recruitment. 2. Physical Standard Test (PST) Requirements
Additionally, the SSC CPO is unique due to its mandatory physical standards. Consequently, candidates who do not meet the height and chest specifications are disqualified immediately, regardless of their written exam scores.

4. Exam Pattern & Selection Process
Therefore, to secure a post, aspirants must navigate a four-stage process:

Paper 1 (CBT): 200 Questions (50 each in Reasoning, GK, Quant, English). Duration is 2 hours.

PET/PST: Mandatory physical clearance as detailed above.

Paper 2 (CBT): 200 Questions focused strictly on English Language and Comprehension.
